-Ceramic bonded grinding wheels – plane cylindrical type- for surface grinding - the most widely used as they perform both surface and ball-bearing rings, shoulders or outlines grinding - ceramic bonded grinding wheels – cylindrical ring type- for surface grinding – are used on medium power maschines and this type of grinding wheel can remove the excesses material faster, but less accurately - ceramic bonded grinding wheels-straight cup wheel type-for surface grinding - are used on low power maschines and this type of grinding wheel can remove the excesses material faster, but less accurately - ceramic bonded grinding wheels- segments type-for surface grinding - are used on high power maschines and this type of wheels can remove the excesses material faster, but less accurately . For this operation 1CR and 38CR types of ceramic bonded wheels are recommended.
Internal grinding wheels are of a harder grade and with a more open structure than external grinding wheels.
Grinding is one of the technological finishing operations for gears theeth. It is recommended for the gears which work at high efforts and great speeds.

This type of grinding wheels are used on fixed and swing- frame grinding maschines, electric and pneumatic hand held maschines.There are intended for precision and rough grinding on various materials such as hard and soft steel, cast iron, aluminium, bronze, brass, concrete, stone, terrazzo, ceramics.
Bakelite grinding wheels recommended for polishing are:

Due to the fact that this types of grinding wheels are reinforced we recommend to be used at higher peripherical speeds (45m/s).
Bakelite bonded grinding wheels recommended for deburring are:

Generally bakelite bonded grinding wheels can be used in surface grinding operations and in both face grinding on deplex grinding maschines also.

III.2. BAKELITE BONDED GRINDING WHEELS - FOR BOTH FACES GRINDING
These types of wheels are nut inserted grinding wheels used to grind the both faces on duplex grinding maschines, especially simultaneousely grinding of two flat faces at very high production rates.There are frequently used in automotive, in aerospace, in foundry and tool industry.

- GREEN PASTE (#320 ; #1000) - used for polishing of stainless steel objects.
- LAPPING PASTE (#280 ; #600) used for:slide valve cock and valve seat lapping process
- GRAPHITE PASTE (#180 ) used for lapping of gear assemblies in order to reduce the noise and vibrations
Magnesite bonded grinding wheels for processing stainless steel objects are ring type wheels.
Cylindrical and ring types magnesite bonded grinding wheels are recommended for files manufacture.
The cut-off wheels have a good cutting eficiency and a high penetration capacity. This types of cut-off wheels are used in cutting of : corners, pipes, bars, metal plates, different kind of building materials.
